A customer success story for a website redesign we created for Clear Health, which increased traffic by 200%, 14 demo bookings in 90 days, and 30% engagement increase.

Overview

Clear Health™️ offers medical billing software that helps hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics consolidate multi-provider fees into a single Good Faith Estimate to improve the patient experience and revenue cycle.

Problem

Their previous site was outdated, lacked discoverability, and had low conversions. They acquired most of their leads in person, overlooking the tremendous ROI their website could deliver. Slow load times made the experience clunky and frustrating to use.

The existing content and copy were mainly informational and focused on solving patients' needs, not their buyers'. They showed minimal visuals of their actual product and offered little to no information on how it works. Solutions, benefits, and features blended together, which made their offer less impactful. They lacked an about page to emphasize their mission and culture, showing that real people are behind it.

Challenges

The project demanded an understanding of how the medical billing process works from the patient and staff perspectives. Hospital owners and ASCs were less likely to search online, resulting in lower traffic and conversions. The content needed to target their customer’s buying intent while focusing on the patient billing experience.

Solutions

  • Created a modern redesign to capture attention and reinforce their call to action.

  • Conducted User Research to identify key industries and departments that have the highest demand for their product and to understand their buying intent and patient struggles.

  • Conducted medical billing research to understand staff and patient struggles to effectively describe how it works and position Clear as the only solution.

  • Created a Content Strategy and UX Copy for Conversion targeting hospital owners and revenue cycle managers that value both the business and the patient experience.

  • Established a strong About page with a quote from the co-founder, included a team section containing leadership profiles, while sharing their mission and culture, resulting in 2 demo bookings in two weeks.

  • Lead them to collect metric-rich client testimonials to boost credibility and provide proof of results.

  • Developed a sliding client logo animation to showcase the most reputable healthcare partners to strengthen their social proof.

  • Increased site traffic and qualifying leads by inserting high-volume and high-buying intent search terms.

  • Introduced a seamless conversion flow by creating a Book a Demo sales page with a form that a five year old could fill out.
